Booking Conditions

Venice Events reserves the right to change the price or schedule of their tours at any time, however we always endeavour to provide the services listed, and only under very unusual circumstances would there be any changes.

We cannot be held responsible for bad weather or seasonal closures, traffic delays and transport strikes.

To reserve private tours, including walks and boat tours, we require a credit card guarantee at the time of booking. (Visa or Mastercard). Credit card information can be either given by:

Cancellation Policy

  • Public Tours Cancellation more than 15 days before – no charge
  • Cancellation between 14 – 7 days before tour – 50% of tour price Less than 7 days
  • NO SHOW – 100% charge

Private Tours

  • More than 28 days before tour – no charge
  • 28 - 14 days – 50% of tour price
  • 14 – 7 days - 75% of tour price Less than 7 days
  • NO SHOW – 100% charge

Disputes Governed by Italian Courts
Tours and contracts with Venice Events are governed by Italian law and in case of dispute jurisdiction is conferred on Italian courts.

Booking via your hotel concierge in Venice where payment can be taken and tickets issued.

We suggest also that you print off a page with our contact number and address, and tour details, to bring with you as not all hotels have our brochures.

Bookings via email - we would require the following information - names of passengers and number of people, name and telephone number of your hotel and arrival date, which tour you wish to book and for which date.

It is recommended for all tours, comfortable shoes, suitable attire in particular for entrance to churches ie shoulders and legs covered and please arrive 10 minutes before scheduled departure time. If you are unsure of meeting points, please do not hesitate to contact us for guidance.

Minibus Tours

  • The scheduled minibus tours operate with a minimum of 4 people, and a maximum of 8 people.
  • Private tours can be booked from 1 to 8 people.
  • Booking conditions and cancellation policy are as above, however no refunds on reservations cancelled within 72 hours of reserved tour.
  • If you book via the Hotel concierge, you will be asked to leave a deposit and the remainder to be paid at the start of the tour.

Your information (name, contact details, special requests) may be disclosed to our service providers only for the purpose of providing you with our services. Only information necessary for this purpose will be disclosed to them. You are responsible for ensuring that other members of your party are aware of the content of our Privacy Policy and consent to you acting on their behalf in all your dealings with us. No data from correspondence with this site will be sold, reused or re-purposed in any way. Maintaining your privacy is important to us.
